been really busy so i'd put the photos & videos altogether., this school year had been really amazing :-)

late again...

it's been nearly a month that I wasn't able to write something in here.,
sooo busy with the holidays & oh! my assistant thai teacher had her wedding in the province., soo we drove 12 hours.... tired., tired., tired., but it's all worth it.

anyway... last two weeks we did letter Cc with the vocab words
       *Car, cat & cow
We color cars cut it & paste it on a paper plate & play with it.,
Then the next two weeks., we did letter Dd.,
        *Dinosaur, dog, duck

We had a rhyme that goes like these:
Dinosaur, Dinosaur big & tall
Dinosaur, Dinosaur big & tall
Don't eat me I'm too small. 

One of my co-teacher made this rhyme I think & the kids love it soo much! -we do it with action ofcourse!!!

my open house is next week!!! whew! i need to dress up nicely & look a bit old!
-some parents think I'm not professional soo....
Anyway., I can do it!!! amen!

Letter Bb Crafts

We read "Bear Hunt"
& play with the Bee we made.

This is the crafts we made, it was a lot of work for the teacher but it is all worth it.
I have to cut 150 wings, 75 circles & oblongs, 450 black stripes, 150 eyes & antennas.

Letter Aa Crafts

First two weeks of June, we did letter Aa. & this is the craft we made.
Vocab Words: 
apple
alligator 
aeroplane

I made a very simple song for Nursery ESL learner., in the tune of Clementine Song this is how it goes:

"I see apple, I see apple, I see apple on the tree

see apple, I see apple, I see apple on the tree"

We also did the "Five little monkey swinging in a tree" but instead of using crocodile we say "Alligator"

CANADA DAY (A snow in Thailand!!!)

Yesterday was Canada Day Grace did some surprises for the kids & they love them. She brought packs of magic snow. It was a lot & the kids love them. Same as real snow they are wet & slippery. Whew, for sure the kids will never forget that for the rest of their lives. A snow in Thailand!!!
-parents were confused & others asked if it was salt!!! haha! throwing salt on kids?., we'll never do that!!!

anyway., we had a really fun conversation today at our staff room., everyone is telling stories about their kids.,
it was so fun & interesting.,
Ushma:
-she's in KG1 (3 yrs old) & a very protective child. She told Ushma "If you've done something wrong to my friends or make them cry I will come to you tonight & get you."
Ushma asked "What? say it again". & the child repeat the statement., She was really surprised & at the same time laugh. Like, where on earth that kid get those words?., does she have special powers or what?., hahaha! KIDS!
Mayenne:
-one of his kid (Noon) was my student last year (when they were in Nursery). Which was a very clever boy, on Monday Noon went to school with his eyebrows shaved, which ofcourse resulting to awkward appearance. He looks like an alien with a very big forehead. Everybody ask him if what happened, "he just simply answered " Oh, my grandfather shaved it." what???? Yes, his grandpa shaved his eyebrows beacuse it's too thin., they want it to be thick!!!

Today, Noon brought a cake at school. When they were about to eat the cake & sing Happy Birthday song for him he shouted "No it is not my birthday today, It's my Dad's!!!" hahahaha!
yes., his dad send a cake to school for his birthday./, weird eh?.,

LOL
anyway., that's one of the beauty of being a teacher.

School Year 2011-2012

Obviously every year our students change (except in some cases) which brings us  mixed emotions.
Joy.. when our previous students were naughty.
Sadness...when our hearts have been closed to them.
& excitement...for a new challenge.

I'm thankful that this year's students are better than my first set of kids (last year).
I started teaching them during summer & I found it easy for them to cope up with lessons because majority can understand English. On the other hand, some of them just cried the whole summer school.

A Passion...

I am a teacher.

Cute Kids., they are inspirations to me...

Since I was a kid I dreamt of teaching,

I dreamt of touching one's soul... 

Inspiring young minds.

This was my second year of teaching,

I never imagined myself that I am going to teach 

young kids. I graduated as a Secondary Education major but I end up teaching Nursery which are 2-3 years old. Others are nearly 2.

but I love it. I was exhausted in the afternoon, but yeah it's all worth it.

Teaching is my passion & as what Madam Galaran (my mentor in college) said 

"Once a teacher, forever a teacher".
